The trumpet's valve system is central to its playability, and our service is designed to address this component with particular care. The ultrasonic cleaning process reaches into the valve casings and ports to dissolve dried oil and particulate buildup that accumulates through regular use — material that cannot be reached through conventional cleaning methods.

Once cleaned, each valve is re-oiled and reseated to restore smooth, consistent action. Tuning slides and the water key are cleaned and regreased as part of the same process, reducing friction and preventing sticking during performance. The result is a valve mechanism that operates with the speed and reliability required for confident playing.

The trombone's slide mechanism determines the instrument's overall playability, and any resistance in its movement directly affects intonation and tone. Our ultrasonic cleaning process removes internal residue that causes uneven or restricted movement along the slide.

Following cleaning, the slide is checked to restore consistent, even motion across its full range. Tuning slides, the water key, and additional joints are cleaned and lubricated as part of the same service, ensuring that all moving components function together without resistance or delay.
