Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Third Note! To help your child learn, make friends, and enjoy playing together in a safe and supportive environment, please review our course guidelines.

Tuition and Enrolment - Payment Terms

  • Pay fees promptly upon confirmation of course placement to secure your child's musical adventure.

  • Ensure all tuition is paid, receipts are lodged before your child enters the 'Third Note' learning venue.

  • Assume responsibility for any bank fees or charges associated with the payment process.

Course Materials & Program Resources

  • Learning materials and online home practice resources are provided.

  • Online practice resources and material links should not be shared.

  • All printed material can be retained by the student.  

  • Copyright of created resources is held by MicraMusic Ltd.

  • Responsible use of consumables is expected for each student.

  • Students should take responsibility to not damage or misplace resources and consumables.

Class Attendance

  • Classes missed due to illness or appointments are not ‘made-up’ for the individual who missed the class.

  • Class content and ‘practice/homework’ is viewable after the class on the designated web page.

  • Parents should notify Third Note staff of absences as early as possible.

  • Attend each class session to build teamwork and musical confidence.

  • Our classes are designed to promote teamwork and collaboration amongst students.

  • By attending each session, students will not only build their musical skills but also gain confidence in working with others towards a common goal.

    Classes cannot be rescheduled or refunded if a participant is unable to attend the class.

Course Alternatives

  • If civil unrest, pandemic situations or Government directives arise during the school term, MicraMusic Ltd will not provide refunds, credit notes or transfer of fees.

  • If such situations occur, the program is designed to continue in Blended (Online) Learning.

  • In either learning delivery mode, students will enjoy a full course program.

  • Opportunities to join Holiday Camps or other similar initiatives may be provided to enhance music learning.

  • You will be notified via email if any changes to the published calendar occur. 

Refund Policy

  • No refund will be available for classes cancelled due to weather warnings or other directives by the Hong Kong SAR Government.

  • No refund is available if a student is absent due to illness or travel.

  • Paid tuition is non refundable if a student withdraws from the course. 

Photography and Multimedia

  • Completion of enrolment implies consent to the use of photographs, video and sound recordings of your child in performances and class in print, media and online. 

Data Privacy

Personal Data is managed in accordance with Hong Kong laws and ordinances.

Terms and Conditions Summary 

  • Students will not be accepted into the class until the program invoice fee has been paid.

  • On ensemble placement, and invoicing the fees are immediately due and payable.

  • All fees are non-refundable and no credit offered for withdrawals once students are accepted into the class.

  • We reserve the right to change venue & time with prior notice.

  • Lessons will finish on time. Please collect your child promptly.

  • No refunds or make up classes will be provided should lessons be canceled because of inclement weather, Education Bureau  / Government directives.

  • In the unforeseen event of HK SAR Government directives closure due to pandemic or unrest, MicraMusic Limited reserves the right to provide online classes and will continue the term for the full length as previously advertised, in this new format.

  • No refunds or make up classes are offered should students be unable to attend a scheduled class for any reason.
