Every player's path sounds different, and private lessons let you move at the pace that makes sense for you. At Third Note, you'll work one-to-one with Craig, an experienced saxophone performer and teacher who shapes every session to your skill level, whether you're picking up a saxophone for the first time or polishing repertoire for an upcoming concert.
Lessons run on weekdays and weekends, so busy school schedules and after-work hours are never a barrier to progress.

The right instrument for the right player
Finding an instrument that ‘fits’ makes the early months of learning saxophone far less frustrating.
Our students start on the Alpha Sax. A British-designed saxophone built for younger players and smaller hands. It strips away the rarely-used keys and it's noticeably lighter.
It’s mostly the same as a full alto saxophone.
Most students transition comfortably to a full alto within 6 to 9 months.
Easy to find, easy to get to
The lessons are held at the Third Note. 12A3 Vita Tower, 29 Wong Chuk Hang Road — a 5-minute walk from the MTR station, with bus stops nearby for anyone coming from Pok Fu Lam, and vehicle access via Yip Kan Street at the rear for drop-offs.
