Maker Band Summer Camp combines hands-on band instrument learning with fascinating STEM activities. Designed exclusively for 7 to 8-year-olds, our limited-size classes offer a vibrant third space where inquisitive children play, discover, and experience the joy of making music together.

Course Information
Our summer programme is designed to balance the mental and physical efforts of learning an instrument with fun, hands-on science experiments.
No previous experience is required to begin this exciting journey.
All learning materials are provided.
Instruments are loaned during the camp. Instruments are cleaned, sanitised and maintained in our instrument care zone.
This course is designed for 7-8 year olds.

Camp Schedule
Mon - Thurs : Students engage in hands-on instrument playing interspersed with two hours of STEM learning. This breaks up the effort of playing by switching to interactive sound physics experiments.
Friday Showcase: The final day is a special showcase and knowledge display where students proudly share their new musical superpowers with family and friends.
Daily Class Time: 10:00am to 12:00 noon.
Venue: Third Note, Vita Tower, WCH.

Pipes & Slides (Flute & Trombone)
July 13–17 or July 27–31
Children discover the joy of the curved-head flute and the robust pBone trombone, developing fine-motor skills and musical memory.
Buzz & Reeds (Trumpet & Saxophone)
July 6–10 or July 20–24
Students explore the bright sounds of the trumpet and the smooth tones of the lightweight saxophone, building breath control, focus, and creative confidence.
