Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Maker Band! Maker Band is a vibrant activity where inquisitive children are invited to be explorers in a musical world by playing brass and wind band instruments. To help your child learn, make friends, and enjoy playing together in a safe and supportive environment, please review our course guidelines.
Tuition and Enrolment
Our tuition fee of $3,800 (full week, five days, two hours per day) or $6,840 (two weeks, total 10 days, two hours per day) covers all learning and materials of the Maker Band course.
To ensure a safe learning space where children can relax and make new friends, each class is limited to a small group of 12 or less students.
No previous experience is preferred, as our experienced educators guide every step of the journey.
Parent and Student agreement
Attend each daily class of 120-minute learning sessions to build teamwork and musical confidence.
Our classes are designed to promote teamwork and collaboration amongst students.
By attending each session, students will not only build their musical skills but also gain confidence in working with others towards a common goal.
Classes cannot be rescheduled or refunded if a participant is unable to attend the class.
Students:
Join a small, nurturing class of explorers to ensure safe, personalised learning.
Participate with others to enjoy high-quality resources to play, discover, and experience the science of sound.
Student materials for the musical education and hands-on STEM learning are included in the tuition fee.
All print. media and physical resources remain the property of MicraMusic Ltd throughout and after the program.
Partner with our educational team to ensure a safe, enriching community experience that boosts mental wellness and musical excellence for every child.
Instrument Use Policy
Maker Band students play on age-appropriate and especially sourced instruments for young musicians.
These instruments are professionally cleaned, and serviced in our Instrument Repair Sericea area.
Maker Band instruments are the Trumpet, Trombone, Flute, Saxophone.
Students will learn proper care routines.
While everyday wear and tear is anticipated, parents will need to cover repair costs for any damage due to deliberate mishandling.
Payment Terms
Pay fees promptly upon confirmation of course placement to secure your child's musical adventure.
Ensure all tuition is paid, receipts are lodged before your child enters the 'Third Note' learning venue.
Assume responsibility for any bank fees or charges associated with the payment process.
Course Alternatives during course disruption
If civil unrest or pandemic situations arise during the school term, MicraMusic Ltd will not provide refunds, credit notes or transfer of fees, rather the full course program is designed to continue in Blended Learning.
You will be notified via email if any changes to the published calendar occur.
Refunds
No refund will be available for classes cancelled due to weather warnings, school closures or other directives from the HK Government
Paid tuition is non refundable if a student withdraws from the course.
