The Power of Performing

We deeply believe in the power of performing. Stepping onto a stage builds confidence, sharpens focus, and brings true joy to learning an instrument. To maximise this impact, we use a specialised teaching model.

We organise our terms into structured blocks of eight rehearsals that culminate directly in a live performance. This approach gives our students clear, exciting goals to work toward, ensuring they always have a meaningful reason to practice and improve.

Discover the "Third Note"

We designed The Third Note around the concept of a "Third Space." This is a dedicated sanctuary distinct from home and regular school. In this space, our musical family can immerse themselves entirely in artistic expression. It provides a safe, welcoming, and visionary environment where creativity naturally flourishes.

A Seamless and Tailored Transition

When your child joins The Third Note, their transition will feel seamless. We intimately know their musical background. We have taken great care to consider the three-year Upper Primary program of technical development they have already experienced.

We ensure thoughtful placement into ensembles based on musical level, allowing every student to thrive. Through bespoke and carefully selected repertoire, we focus on more than just reading notes on a page. We actively nurture their ensemble growth, interpersonal communication, and leadership development.

We are proud of our association with the HK Philharmonic Fundraising Concert having raised over $750,000 for the HK Phil’s Instrumental Music Outreach programs since 2024. We anticipate to continue this mutually, and musically, beneficial endeavour.
