Regular preventive maintenance is recommended by instrument manufacturers to achieve optimum playing condition.

A poorly maintained instrument may impact your performance. Regular maintenance is often referred to as "annual servicing" or as "COA"(clean, oil and adjust).

A qualified repair technician will keep your instrument in good operating condition, and a sanitised instrument is peace of mind.

Manufacturers' guidelines suggest service at this level once a year.

The COA service involves complete disassembly, cleaning of the body and removal of mineral deposits, old oil and grease, and a full re-lubrication of the instrument.

COA service includes replacing basic corks and felts used for incidental noise reduction and those used in the adjustment of key mechanisms.

Additional services may be required, but any additional charges will be approved by customer before beginning work.
