Overview
Jazz Band is where young musicians come to explore, improvise, and groove together. Each week, students dive into the styles, sounds, and spirit of jazz alongside an experienced jazz band director who makes every session fun, hands-on, and a little bit surprising.
You'll learn the language of jazz, find your own voice as a player, and feel what it's like to ‘jam’ with a band - there's a seat waiting for you.
Core Jazz Instruments, like woodwind are brass are encouraged to join - alongside a rhythm section of keyboard, drums, bass and lead guitar to discover the enjoyment of playing Jazz.
